Your ceremony can take place anywhere* in East Sussex. Including at any one of our four register offices, any licensed venue, on the beach, in the woods, even in your back garden.
*subject to satisfactory risk assessment and Public Liability Insurance (where applicable). Celebration ceremonies cannot take place in political or religious premises

A licensed venue is one that has already received approval from East Sussex Registration to hold legal civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies.
All unlicensed venues will be subject to a risk assessment by East Sussex Registration. Celebration ceremonies cannot take place in political or religious premises
